Just created this tonight and it's definitely a keeper! The Hubby and I can't wait to try it again, next time on the grill; the smoky flavors imparted by cooking over the coals will complement the sauce nicely. It's a lovely way to serve an otherwise inexpensive piece of meat.

Falafel originated in Egypt and is popular across the Middle East. Seasoned and pureed garbanzo beans are formed into cakes and fried, then placed on a salad or in a pita sandwich with fresh sliced vegetables and cucumber sauce or tahini. This is sure to become a family favorite!

These cabbage rolls are stuffed with a mixture of beef, pork, and venison, then baked in a tomato sauce. I remember my grandmother making these on special occasions, usually when she had a lot of hands to help her! This is time consuming but most excellent, and the rolls freeze well for later consumption.

This lovely and sophisticated peach-lavender sorbet is great for cleansing the palate after a heavy meal. Even though it's mostly fruit, it does taste rather rich; so keep portions small.
