Mango Quesadillas

The smushed black beans didn't taste that great...definitely needs some salt, and still overpowered the rest of the quesadillas.

Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
Fantastic flavor! I used boneless, skinless chicken tenders, and it turned out perfectly moist and tender. I cooked the leftover meat & pineapple that didn't fit on the amount of skewers that I had in a skillet and served it with rice. Equally delish!

Chicken Pot Pie VI

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2009
This was amazing, and my hubby loved it! I used the pillsbury pie crust and sprinkled parmesan cheese on the top. I also only used 2 chicken breasts, but once they were cooked and diced we put them into the food processer to shred it a little. I used frozen carrots, green beans, and corn becuase that was all I had at the moment. I will never buy frozen pot pie again!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
I, personally, am not a big fan of chicken, but I loved this recipe. I love garlic, and it gave the chicken a great flavor. I served it with fettucini alfredo, and sweet peas. The hubby loved it!

Taco Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
I thought this recipe was "Ok", but my husband loved it! After reading other reviews, I added 1 can of Diced tomatoes to the recipe. I think the recipe needs some crunch to it, like a vegetable or tortilla chips on top. I also only put it in the oven for 25 minutes, which is plenty. At the 20 minute mark was when I added the cheese topping.

Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
I made these fries last night. They were delicious!! I did my own little experiment. I took the advice of one of the other reviews and used a cooling rack over a baking sheet (greased both) for one batch and used my Pampered Chef bar stone for the other. By far, the cooling rack method won!! The fries cooked on the stone were burned. I would recommend sprinkling with brown sugar when they come out of the oven. I'm planning to make them again tonight. They made my kitchen smell so good!!!

These were wonderful! I steamed them in the microwave for a few minutes and then put them in the oven like other reviews suggested. Will definitely make again.

My family really loved this gravy. The meatloaf was ok, but it just wasn't like my mom used to make. I will definatley use this gravy the next time I make meatloaf, though.

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
These are absolutely wonderful! And easy to make! My boyfriend loves chocolate chip cookies, so I have been on a mission to find the perfect recipe. Mission accomplished. I did omit the nuts and I made them double the size because we like bigger cookies. Otherwise...awesome!

Mild Curry Powder

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
I thought it was very tasty and was relieved to find a make-your-own for this. I have purchased the jar kind...but don't think I'll be going back to that. I did add 1/8 tsp. of onion powder and 1/4 tsp. of cayenne (I like it spic-ay). :) Thank you so much for the recipe!!

Hamburger Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
My family LOVED this meal! I tweaked it a little for my own tastes. I didn't have an onion handy, so I added onion powder and garlic powder to the hamburger as it was cooking. I used boxed mashed potatoes (cheddar flavored). I also used 1 can of tomato soup, and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. The cream of mushroom soup really made it creamy and yummy! The cheddar flavored potatoes really added a lot of flavor as well. I will definately make this again!

Easy Cheesy Chicken II

My family loved this! To add a little wow to it, I coated the chicken in Ragu cheddar cheese sauce before coating it in the crackers. I also added garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the crushed crackers. My 11 year old brother loved it!

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This was very good! I added minced garlic, and italian seasoning, and it was very good! I do think 30 min in the oven is too much. After the 30 min, the cheese on top was overcooked and hard. I think maybe 15-20 min would be enough. Otherwise, very good!

Quick Sesame Green Beans

OMG! These green beans were to die for! Nice flavor, great taste, and beautiful to serve. I couldn't find miso paste at my grocer, so I substituted sesame oil. Also, I used frozen green beans, as I didn't want to clean and snap fresh. Fantastic! We will be having this again!

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
I really disliked this dish. It was very heavy and rich, which my stomach does not take very well. Also, half an hour after dinner my daughters were complaining they were hungry again. I'm not knocking anything about this recipe, just that we didn't like it. Thanks for the offering, though!

Chicken Boston

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
After reading all the comments about this recipe being so sweet, I built a menu around it to offset the sweetness. However, we didn't find it all that sweet. It was definitely a different experience; interesting, but whether we love it or not will have to take a couple more times of eating it. Also, my grocer did not have pineapple-apricot preserves, so I mixed a small tin of crushed pineapple with a jar of apricot preserves. We will definitely have it again!
