Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed on May 12, 2008 by Chowchick
This turned out pretty good. I didn't have time to put it in the slow cooker...I also didn't have any Italian dressing. I used some season salt on the chicken and cooked it with a little bit of chicken broth really slowly in a skillet. Next time I will put it in the slow cooker. I took other's advice and used half cream cheese and half sour cream to lighten it up a little.

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed on May 1, 2008 by Chowchick
I thought this was a really good recipe. I used butter rather than oil, and jasmine rice because that's what I had. I cut the recipe down by half but added a full cup on salsa. The only problem I had was the rice got sticky...I probably cooked it too long. The kids and I liked it but the hubby didn't really care for it. Thanks!

Marshmallow Crispie Bars

Reviewed on May 1, 2008 by Chowchick
Great recipe!!! Why didn't I think of adding vanilla!?! I love the addition of the vanilla, it seems to give them a warmer flavor. I added a 1/2 cup on peanut butter in with the marshmallows as they were melting. They turned out great!! Thanks I'm going to make more this weekend, at least a double batch.
