About me:
I am 31 years old and love to cook! I remember as a little girl standing on a chair in the kitchen begging my mom to stir or help in any way. My favorite thing then, and still is, is licking the beaters!

Mom's Country Gravy

Reviewed on Nov. 24, 2009 by desfrey
This was delicious! I used butter instead of oil per other reviewer's suggestions and added just a pinch of garlic powder and it was the best gravy ever. I am sure it would be even better with sausage or bacon. I found it a bit difficult to keep the roux going- it kept settling at the bottom of the pan. Nothing that some vigorous stirring can't fix. This will definitely be my gravy recipe from now on!

Wow, these were good, I really didn't think I'd like them or my family, but it was a winner for us. didn't use dates, didn't have any. Uses raisins instead. otherwise I followed the recipe! (not too common for me) Mmmm!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed on Nov. 23, 2009 by Mackenzie
I have now made this recipe twice (the first time I had a brainfart and used regular sugar instead of confectioners' but it still worked out wonderfully) and the pie disappears incredibly quickly. My friend is a major Reese's cup lover, and this is her favorite pie. We use a chocolate crust, and then cover the top with chocolate syrup. Sooo goood.
