Key Lime Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
I made this cheesecake and it was YUMMY!! My 1st time ever making a cheesecake and I was impressed. Everyone enjoyed it. While it cooled it did crack in the center, but i used a lime/whip cream decoration to hide most of it.

Great recipe. I was out of nuts, so did it without. Increased the cocoa and it was wonderful! Thanks for a great recipe!

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
This was the best recipe ever. I didn't have any buttermilk, so I used milk and cream of tartar as a substitute, and it worked just fine. These muffins are moist and I am going to have to make another batch today because they are almost gone...Yum!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
Love this lemonade. I didn't have quite 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice, but used about 1 1/4 cups lemon juice and the same with the sugar. I put the lemons in the sink and rolled them on the counter-thanks for that. It made it so easy to juice them. :) I microwaved the sugar and water and then put ice in it to do it faster. It mixed together in under 15 minutes and was perfect!

This was really good, but I think fewer onions might be advised. I had dried onions and maybe 1 TB at the most. I also used heavy cream. Very good recipe.

This recipe did not do well for me. Not only did the sugar stick in the pie pan, but it came out in clumps when I tried to flip it over onto the plate.

Garden Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
I tried this recipe out and I just didn't like the sweet spicy combo. The 1/2 cup of brown sugar was way too much and it gave the meatloaf an unnatural flavor. I think it has potential though. I will be using less sugar next time and I will also try to figure a way so that it doesn't come out so dry. I'm sorry for the low rating.

Mexican Rice III

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
I tried it and it has a good flavor. I over salted it though. I don't think it needs salt if you are using broth and cubes to flavor it. Not bad, only thing was the color was off a bit. Maybe add some tomato paste and sauce to give it a deeper orange color. But the flavor was good, cept for the saltiness. . . my fault.
