Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
This was great recipe & I will make it again with a few adjustments to help cut down the fat & calories but as is, this a great dish to have on a cold night; fills you right up. to quote jj_howell27 "I think next time I would serve as a side dish with steak or something because it is so rich. This is a special dinner meal, not an every night meal unless you crave bigger pants!"

Stuffed Tomato Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
I have to agree with another user about this recipe. It had everything I liked, it was simple and quick to make but the end result of the dish was just blah. It lacked serious flavor and was a major disappointment at the dinner table.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
To reviewer Julielynn...Yes you can make these the night before and bake in the morning. That is the only way I have ever made these. After making them you will obviously store them in the refrigerator overnight. Pull them out in plenty of time to come back to room temp before baking. They will take at least a couple of hours so plan accordingly. I agree with other reviewers that these are best baked at 350 for a bit longer than 20 minutes. Hope that helps!

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
Terrific recipe! Quick & super easy, all the ingredients needed I already had at home so I didn't need to make a stop to the store to make it! I made this last night and it was a hit with my fiancé. I added some Italian seasoning to the chops while they were in the pan frying. I think next time I will double coat them as others have suggested. I’ll be making this again very soon…

This was good but not fantastic, my fiancé loved it and wants this in our regular dinner rotation. I will admit that this has been one of the juicest meatloaves I've had in a while.

Love this recipe!! A new family fave for sure. I forgot to add the whipping cream but this dish still came out delish! Next time I think I'll grill the chicken instead.

Gnocchi with Sage-Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Quick & Easy, what's not to love? I cut the recipe down and used 1 (16.8 oz) package of gnocchi. I also cooked some chicken tenders in the sauce and this became an instant hit at home.

Brick-Oven Pizza (Brooklyn Style)

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
This is for the crust only, but it was the best crust I have ever had. My husband and I both can not believe how good it is. We used a different homemade sauce, pizza sauce II from this site tweaked just a little bit; and it was absolutely perfect. I will now keep this crust in the fridge and ready to go from now on.

I love this recipe-these are my husband's favorite cookies. I omit the raisins and walnuts, add a little extra flour and cloves. These are very light.

Creme Brulee French Toast

I am a french toast lover and this recipe by far takes the cake!! I substituted amaretto for the liqueur. I intend on making this for Christmas breakfast because this french toast just gives off that "special meal" taste!

Chili con Carne III

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
Excellent base chili recipe; if you follow it word for word, I could see how some would say this dish was bland, but with a little creativity you’ve got a winner. I added green & red bell peppers, corn salsa, diced tomatoes with green chilies, poblano pepper and some Tabasco sauce. Next time I do make this I’m going to omit the whole tomatoes and just double up on diced tomatoes, maybe pop in some jalapenos too (to make it have a little more kick).

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
omg this turned out excellent! I followed the suggestions of another poster & used brown sugar to tone done the bitterness of the vinegar; I also added sun dried tomatoes instead of diced-canned tomatoes along with artichoke hearts & 2 cubes of chicken bouillon. Very yummy! I ony wish I topped pasta with the sauce, I will have to keep this in mind for the next time I make it!
