Annemarie's Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
These are so incredibly easy and yummy. We tested our new toaster/convection oven with these and are on our second batch. I do double the lemon mixture and add a tsp of vanilla to the lemon mixture. The crust is better than box lemon bar crust. I am taking the crust recipe and try with a pecan pie recipe to make a pecan bar recipe. This was the greatest I'm sorry gift. My hubby loves me again. Thank you for something so tasty and easy.

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Slices

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
Great snack! I always have a ton of sweet potatoes around. I found that I need to take them out of the pan right away. The first batch I made I left them in the pan to cool for about 30 minutes while doing something else and they were stuck hard, even though I had sprayed the pan. The next batch I removed right away, they came off whole and crisped up nicely. Tasted great! Thanks for the recipe.

Grilled Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
Wow! I have been searching for the best way to make wings and my husband likes them hot! These were awesome. I didn't have enough room on the grill for my pan and the wings at the same time. So I grilled the wings for approx 10 min and then put them in the pan with sauce and then put the whole pan on the grill(direct heat). I removed them after about 5 min and put just the wings back on. I decided then just to finish grilling the wings. They had a great grilled look and flavor. They also had the crispness just like you get when frying. I'm guessing that first layer of sauce on them helped with that. We then tossed them with a fresh batch of the sauce. The ingredients really surprised me, but the taste was amazing! Thanks for a great recipe.

Slow Cooker Barbeque

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
I rated this a four bc I have to add alot to this to get it to be what my family loves. I always s/p my meat sea salt is essential when seasoning a slow cooker roast or grill. but i always throw in a onion and bf bouillon cube and some whole cloves or garlic. Pick your favorite bbq sauce this is key. we personally like sweet baby rays but you might like masterpiece kc up to you but a good recipes. You also could use leftover pepperconi bf for this to change the beef around for a night. enjoy.

Sandy's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
Okay I am giving this a 3 bc the cake part amazing so moist and fudgy yummy made the house smell delicious. The frosting reminding me of grocery store bakery frosting yuck! To sugary this cake me and 5 others agreed a fudgie frosting less sugar more something. I will use this website to locate the perfect frosting. But a 5 for the cake awesome. The cake is also a great way to use up cocoa powder since it uses quite a bit. i only really use cocoa powder around christmas time always a new one so if you are trying to use it up make this cake you surely will not be disappointed.
