This is the result of trying to duplicate a seafood-chain's recipe. Comes close enough, they're gone the minute they hit the table!

Mumze's Sticky Chicken

This recipe uses chicken drumettes, which is the meaty part of the chicken wing. The drumettes are baked in a sticky sauce of corn syrup, soy sauce, sugar and white wine. Fun sticky chicken. Great for parties and picnics.

This is a recipe for a classic, dark brown, shrimp gumbo in true Louisiana Cajun country fashion. Serve over rice. Browning the chicken pieces in the oil used for the roux adds flavor to the dish. I use the cooked chicken for chicken salad. File is added off the heat to thicken the gumbo. If added while the gumbo is still cooking, it may become stringy and unpleasant. File is ground sassafras leaves. It is available in many supermarkets.

This recipe came from a dear friend of mine. It is an unbelievably delicious fudge! This fudge has been a hit with all who have tried it. Don't let them know the ingredients until they have tasted it; they still won't believe it has cheese in it. Also, it is easier to make if the recipe is halved. Pecans can be substituted for walnuts.

With a little experimenting, I came up with these chewy, spicy, oatmeal raisin cookies. They make your kitchen smell wonderful while they are baking. They almost remind me of Christmas because the spices smell so good.

Get out your slow cooker and fill it with pre-boiled macaroni, sharp Cheddar cheese, evaporated milk, whole milk and eggs. Spend the next 5 or 6 hours raking leaves or playing baseball, then sit down to a comforting dish of macaroni and cheese.
