Mexican Shrimp Cocktail

Took this to a pool party and it was a HIT! Used spicy V8, green onion instead of red, no horseradish....YUMMY! Have made it 4 times already and my friends are still begging for more!!

Brie en Croute

I have been making this for years and always spoon Apricot Preserves over the top when I first take it out of the oven and sprinkle chopped roasted pecans, diced dried cheries and apricot pieces for a spectacular presentation.

Onion and Cheddar Burgers

Paula's Bread Sticks

Awesome...here's my adaptation: No bread machine/Bread hook in mixer -dissolve yeast in water with 1 T of honey 5 minutes -used 2 cups all purpose flour -used 2 cups wheat -substituted sesame seeds with flax seeds allowed to rise for 30 minutes then "punched down and kneaded" until dough wasn't sticky anymore -seperated into 15 pieces....snake rolled and spiraled. Pressed into a cinnamon/sugar mixture. Whoala...healthy cinnamon rolls

This was completely tasteful. the whole family loved it. i didnt have pinto beans so i used 2 cans of kidney beans. one light one dark. i substituted the cumin for extra chili powder. we dont mind it with a little extra kick.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Thank you Merwin! This was fabulous!! I took the advice of others and left in the chicken. I also used andouille as well as smoked sausage. There were NO LEFTOVERS!! Everyone raved about it and everyone has requested that I make it again this weekend! This time I will add crab!!

Shrimp Scampi V

OMG! This was absolutely the best!! I took the advice of other reviewers and added more garlic, 1/2 wine, 1/2 chicken broth, lemon juice and I also added a little cornstarch for a little thicker sauce...it came out PERFECT!! It was quick & easy and my kids gobbled it up. My fiance said it tasted better than any he ever had at a restaurant. I will definitely make again and again!!

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

This is the one dish I could never master, but now I am THE MASTER!! The only change I made was to use 1 cup of brown sugar & 1 cup of white sugar. I have made these numerous times now and they come out perfect every single time!!

Chipotle Roasted Chicken with Potatoes

I tried this recipe back in 2002 and my whole family loves the aroma of the spices when its in the oven and they enjoy it very much. when iam in hurry i just boil the chicken and pot and i put the sauce over it without the overn and is also delicious.
