About me:
I'm kind of serious and down to earth, but love to try new things. I'm always planning out shopping trips around my recipes that I want to make. I have a very small house with a big sized yard and wonderful deck. I share this with my husband and our 2 dogs. It's great for summer entertaining.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed on Jun. 9, 2009 by Misty Darnell
Hello!!! This was delicious!!! I made a few changes, but mainly stuck to the recipe. I used turkey bacon and after cooking it, I sauteed peppers, onion and garlic in the grease and omitted the mushrooms. I added some cayenne pepper to the season salt because we love spicy food! I then cooked the chicken in the same pan. By using one pan, you get all the flavors of the dish. For the sauce, I reduced the amount of corn syrup to 1 tsp. and used mircle whip instead of mayo. I topped the chicken in the dish with the sauce, then bacon and veggie mix, then Jack cheese! Sooo yummy! I will surely make this again!

Banana Pudding III

Reviewed on May 25, 2009 by Teri
This is the fourth time I'm making this delicious dessert. My daughter insists I make it for Memorial Day instead of our usual strawberry shortcake! I want to thank the reviewer who said to add the bananas to the pudding mixture...what a great idea and a big time saver. Thanks again for a family favorite!

Oatmeal Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed on May 11, 2009 by Sarah
This is a great recipe! I doubled the amount of bananas and left a few bits "chunky" and it tured out wonderful! I also put 1/3 cup chocolate chips in one of the loaves to see how that turned out....YUM! The oatmeal really adds a great flavor and texture to this bread!
