Pressure cooker is king! This beef stew was made for us when we were just infants. Beef, carrots and potatoes taste like they simmered all day, but this is ready in about half an hour. To this day it reminds me of home.

'My mother had surgery a few years back in spring, so my two sisters and I were challenged to prepare dishes like this that would keep well and still taste great as leftovers,' recalls Nicole LeCroy of Nashville, Tennessee. 'Mom got her appetite back when she tried this cool and crunch asparagus that gets a flavor boost from soy sauce. It's a nice accompaniment to chicken, roast beef or ham.'

Winter Lentil Vegetable Soup

This soup has very little fat, is cheap and easy to make and delicious. Our family practically lives on it in the winter and I usually double the recipe. Sprinkle grated cheddar on top if you wish. If you can't hang around long enough for this to cook, put it in a slow cooker.

This recipe can be eaten as a side dish or as a light meal. It's great with a grilled pork chop and some crusty bread. Its origins date back to North African cultures and is one of the very popular choices of tapas in Seville's bars.

Korean BBQ Chicken Marinade

Submitted by: So Il-Byung
This sauce is from the very popular 'chicken bowls' in my hometown. It's very tasty! Use it as a marinade for chicken, or to baste chicken while grilling. Increase the hot chile paste as desired. Twelve teaspoons is usually as much as anyone can take!
