Fry Bread Tacos II

A yummy twist to an old favorite. The frybread makes the difference. It's a popular request at my house. I do up everything but the frybread in advance, and just heat up before serving. Leftover frybread can be used as dessert - coat it with cinnamon and sugar, and drizzle with honey.

Chocolate and almonds top off a rich buttery toffee. A simple recipe that you could easily remember and whip up any time. I always get compliments and requests for more. Use any type of nut that you like in place of the almonds.

Lovely tart apples are sliced up and arranged in a baking dish with lemon juice and water. Sprinkled on top is a delicious crumble topping made of oats, brown sugar, a bit of flour, butter, and chopped walnuts. And then the crisp is baked until the apples are tender and the top lightly browned.

Its flavor-enhancing power is salt's greatest culinary asset. Try this slowly cooked (4 to 5 hours) roast and see for yourself.

It looks and tastes like apple cobbler, but the star of this yummy dessert is really zucchini. The zucchini is first cooked in lemon juice until tender. Then it 's sugared, splashed with nutmeg and cinnamon, and spread over a buttery crumb mixture in a 9x13-inch baking dish. More crumbs go on top, and then the cobbler is baked until golden and bubbly.
