Sherry Sour Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
My family loved it...I used EVOO instead of butter, and drained a lil of it off before making the sauce. I just put a dash of the herbs into the sauce instead of on the chicken and I also only baked for 35 minutes...my 16 month old daughter wouldn't stop eating it...great recipe!!

Cranberry Crunch Squares

I followed some other reviewers suggestions and cut the butter and sugar. I put the oatmeal mixture on the bottom and top. I put it in the fridge after it cooled and had no problem cutting it into bars, and they kept their shape.

Bubble 'n' Squeak

A great way to use up leftovers from christmas dinner. You can throw in just about any veg so long as you have the right proportion of potatoes! I think the potatoes should be mashed, not sliced in order to be authentic, so that is what we used, and the result was very good.

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
Love the recipe! The glaze at the bottom turned out perfectly! Very gooey but not too much, it was great. I didn't add the pecans. I used cinnamon sugar in the seasoning bottle instead of just cinnamon. I also put on some caramel on top of them before putting them into the oven. After they were cooked I added some more caramel on top for presentation and it was gooey and tasted awesome. My boyfriend who's a food critic LOVED them and I do too. Will make again when his family comes down!!

This dip is amazing! It tastes exactly like a dip that I pay $11 for at a local bar/restaurant. I'm soooo happy that I found this recipe. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes a thick cheesy dip.

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
These were exceptionally tastey. Instead of the whoopie icing, i used cream cheese icing II from this site. It was wonderful. My only complaint is that the pumpkin part sticks to plates and things and eventually falls apart. But I guess I really shouldn't be complaining about how amazingly moist they are, haha.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
Good flavor but certainly not unbelievable. I marinated this all night and then the next day until I cooked it. With that much brown sugar I expected this to be too sweet, which I'm not that into, but once cooked it really wasn't. I basted it one time. I have a charcoal grill, which pretty much ends up on "high" unless I cover it with only the lid vents open - even then it burned easily and I can't comprehend how high on a gas grill wouldn't just burn this to death. But despite all that, it did hold the flavor well, even to the leftovers the next day that I nuked. But most of the flavor was still just on the outside. (I tend to slice stuff like this so I'm getting outside w/inside, and not getting bites of just inside chunks.) I'd like to see what this is like just baking it.

Love the flavor of this. The texture is a little more crumbly than I would like. Perhaps its all the butter and eggs.
