About me:
I learned to cook from my Dad and Mom, watching them cook, and then making some changes myself to what I saw them cook. I love to cook from scratch, therefore when I cook I try to use canned or packaged stuff ONLY IF ABSOLUTELY NECESARY, if I don't have to I would rather NOT. I love to watch people cook and learn from them, then try and make thgese recipes myself. I love to bake, even though baking IS NOT my strong point (things do come out pretty good), my strongest point is savory food especially Mexican food.

Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed on Feb. 13, 2009 by staz
This is the best flan everrrr!!! I had a flan in Mexico and I always had dreams about it but now this one took his place. So easy to make I had some issues with the caramel but other than that it was a hit.

Chicken Mole with Four Chiles

Reviewed on Nov. 11, 2008 by Miss Lettuce
Ty, your mole with four chiles is great! Not too many girls like to cook wholesome-more-than-three-ingredients recipes like this one. I am all about cooking authentic Mexican food from scratch, and I am also proud of making my own corn and flour tortillas!
