About me:
I was born in the Netherlands as the oldest of 3 children. My mother let me help in the kitchen as often as I wanted and I could try out any new recipe as long as I would clean up afterwards. I have been living in the US for almost 10 years now and love the southern food which has now been included in my repertoire which is a mix of european, indonesian (previous colony of the netherlands) and other asian, jewish (my husband is Jewish), and just any recipe that looks interesting.

Add some fresh oregano, a bay leaf and a couple of chopped dried tomatoes - perks the flavor to a T.

Grilled Whole Turkey

Reviewed on Nov. 24, 2009 by DUTCHCOOK
I had two turkeys one year, and only one oven, so I fired up my hood BBQ and put the foil wrapped stuffed turkey on it. Did not make the bullion basting fluid, just wrapped in foil. We have never tasted a better turkey!!! Will do again as soon as I have the chance (enough eaters).

Made this in september - could not wait till december to open and taste - very good. Because of allergies I used apple vinegar and no sugar - delicious!
