This is a no roll, press in the pan crust, made with oil instead of shortening. It is very good and very easy. A good choice for when a top crust isn't necessary. Vegetable oil may be used instead of peanut oil.

An economical version of an old-favorite sandwich. It is made of rump roast simmered for 7 hours with beef broth, onion soup and beer. The reduced cooking liquid makes plenty of sauce for dipping.

Tender morsels of poached chicken are baked in a noodle casserole with a delectable blend of cream of chicken soup, mushrooms, broccoli, celery and onion. Shredded Cheddar and mozzarella cheese are sprinkled over the top before baking.

This is a delicious side dish with cheese, potatoes, and Ranch! What's not to love?! I am always begged to bring this wherever I go. It is a great complement to a barbeque or any potluck meal. I have experimented with using more chili powder and using seasoning salt instead of regular salt.

Kaiserschmarrn (meaning 'the emperor's mishmash') is a traditional Austrian dessert. It is a caramelized pancake similar to a Dutch Baby, but made with rum-soaked raisins, eggs. flour, sugar, and butter. The pancake is split into pieces while frying, sprinkled with powdered sugar, and served hot with plum sauce or apple sauce on the side or on top.
