I have a history with any sort of baked goods with apple in it. They invariably stick to the pan no matter how well I grease and flour it. This cake has to be the first one that didn't. That in itself makes it a success for me. The fact that it was beautifully moist, tasted terrific and disappeared in no time was a bonus. A very big thankyou jillybeans.

this was a nice cake ...my husband loves it! only thing i did differently was use 100g ground almonds as i didn't have any pecans.i really loved not having any extra mixing bowls to wash up after!

my aunt first recommended this recipe to me.while my cousin stayed over one day she made it for us,well it was fab!so since than i have made it twice...really it is better than any shop bought chocolate cake i have had.i used one bowl buttercream frosting to fill and top this cake.

i liked this cake, i didn't have lemon extract so i used orange extract and used two teaspoons. it did take a little longer to cook than stated.will make again thanks.

really amazing pancake recipe!!! really nice and soft and fluffy and yummy and crispy on the edges, and for the first time in my entire life i managed to toss it without it going on the floor...now thats a sign of a good pancake if ever i saw one!! I used gluten free flour and also used lemon juice and milk instead of the buttermilk, really really good! tomorrow i shall be trying the rest of the batter out on the whole family, i'm sure they'll love these pancakes as much as me :D

made this with gluten free flour and it was totally yummy, i also put jam and butter icing in the middle and lemony butter icing on the top, it went down very very well with the family thats for sure! :D
