Dijon Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
I thought these were great! I sliced the chicken pieces into strips instead of chucks...I didn't have any green onion so I just made the recipe without! I used grainy Dijon Mustard and Italian style bread crumbs and they turned out DELICIOUS! Very tender and very tasty! I put them on the BBQ for about 4 mins per side and they came out great! Will definitely make again as they were very easy and very fast to make! Cheers!

Sweet Corn Cakes

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
I followed the ingrediants as directed but instead of making one large cake I made little individual ones. These where extremely greasey and you can tell in photo I posted. Although they tasted reasonable they were jsut to greasey. I think if I make them next time I'll reduce the butter and increase the flour as suggested in other posts to get a better rise.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
WOW! This is delicious! Made it for a BBQ and everyone loved it! I couldn't find any chilies so I doubled up on the Jalapenos! Spicy! Was so good that you couldn't help but keep going back for more! Served with chips...didn't put bread crumbs on like others suggested. Will try it was bread to drip next time! Great recipe!

This was very good! I just made it for breakfast and it was delicious! I made it without the salsa on the side and added a bit of grated cheese on top...was very tasty and very filling! Thank you for this recipe! Will definately make again!

I thought this was OK, my boyfriend really enjoyed it. I could taste the cider vinegar a little too much...did turn out very moist though! Thanks for the recipe!

Parsleyed Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This was a very simple and turned out great! I didn't use instant rice because I hate that stuff; I used Basmati Rice instead and I didn't have any dried minced onion so I threw in some onion powder! Still turned out great - had a nice flavour! Thanks for the recipe!

Aunt Mary's Eggplant Balls

Reviewed: May 24, 2008
Ok so at first glance you think oh another aurbergine (eggplant) recipe. HOWEVER, this was beautiful and surprisingly filling. I had no eggs though so just left them out and to be honest they held together great without them. I served with a basic tomato and red wine sauce and wholewheat pasta. Delicious and BF would like them next week too (this is the guy who hates aubergines!!!!). These would be great as finger party food with a nice dip or in a pitta bread with salad. Well theres no end of possibilities. I posted a photo too. Well done Aunt Mary!

Bud's Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
I really didn't like this recipe; I found it very very sweet to the point were it was just overwhelming. I made this during the weekend when we had people over for lunch - not one of us like it.

Guacamole

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
This is AWESOME! We adore Guacamole and this is the only one we make! Tried many other but this is the best by far! LOVE IT! We keep everything the same except for the amount of Garlic; we add a lot more garlic but that's just for our taste! Great recipe! Thank you! *Thumbs Up!*
