 My name is Michael and i am 21 years old, I currently live in Hull on the east coast of Britain with my wonderful partner Paul. This called for way too much butter. I did it twice exactly how it said to do it and each time it separated and was oily on top and then burned it trying to fix it. I tried another recipe with less butter and it was perfect.

Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing

i hav 2 say this is one of the moisest cakes ever!! i made it on a friay and iced on a wednsday and it was moist!!! i added orange extract as thats what i had in and it gave a lovely flavour of choc orange!! used fudge icing (melted butter, milk and icing sugar) and it was a winner, my son ate most, breakfast, lunch and supper, makes a good party cake to ice and keep, thanks!!!

these are fab!! so gooey my nephew tried to whip them all!!! i must say when they were cooking i thought they had gone wrong as when i looked in the oven they were risen right up but after cooling they were great thanks!!
