Cottage Pudding - Upside Down Cake

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by KEZ
I followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect for our tastes and it looks lovely when turned out on the plate. It's far too cold here at the moment to eat it with ice cream, so we had custard with it instead. Thankyou for a great dessert Sandra.

Potato Skillet

I made some minor adjustments to the seasonings. I used a pinch each of sea salt and garlic powder and lots of black pepper. Followed other reviewers advice to add the bacon after the cheese had melted. Served with some fried tomatoes. Thankyou LaDonna, my husband thoroughly enjoyed this.

Orange Blossom Trifle

Reviewed on Dec. 14, 2009 by KEZ
A nice change from the usual trifle I make. I layered it differently, cake, fruit and then the custard and decorated the top with chocolate curls. The custard really is the star of the show and I have plans to use it in other ways. Possibly in tart shells with fruit on top for Christmas. Thankyou for a lovely recipe ChefBeth.
