I've made this. It is very good! I love it! What I did though was just use egg whites, sugar, crushed peppermint sticks, and chopped nuts =) tastes great just like this!

This is sooo yummy. I usually do not care for Teriyaki flavored things but this was awesome! I made it exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing.

Coconut Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
The filling for this recipe is absolutely delicious and I will use it again. Other then that I did not follow the recipe. I used a very moist chocolate cake and found that it did not need any extra icing. The filling is so good there is nothing else really needed. Besides a tall glass of milk or coffee! :)

Quick Butter Croissants

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
This recipe is excellent! So light and fluffy. Not as fluffy as the tradition croissant... but I haven't been able to master that yet. It really does have the taste and feel of a croissant though, so that satisfies me! I only baked 8 croissants and am freezing the rest so I can have them freshly baked when I feel like it. Just freeze them in their croissant shape and then on the day you want to bake them take them out a couple of hours ahead of time to thaw and rise. Also, beat 1 Tbsp of water with the egg before brushing it on... it makes a better glaze.

These were excellent! I had to approximate on the amounts because I only used 2 lbs of ground beef. But, they were very yummy and flavorful! A keeper!

Apple Lemon with Cinnamon Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
I have been making these for a couple of years now. The only thing that I do differently is add a teaspoon of strawberry jam to the middle. I also often leave the lemon peel out if I don't have one on hand. Great for breakfast because they are not too sweet and with the jam in the middle they are perfect for running out the door (or great to take on camping trips).

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
These cookies are soooo good! My husband could not stop eating them. I thought that the amount of icing was perfect. I literally just had enough for all the cookies. I used 2 Tbsp milk in the icing instead of the cream and chunky peanut butter instead of smooth. Heavenly! Sweet and salty with every bite.

Easy Biscuit Mixture

I use this recipe all the time for biscuits... I halve the recipe though since we don't make biscuits all the time and just use when needed. I also just use hard margarine instead of shortening. My favorite recipe to use this in is "Cheese Biscuits I" from this site.

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
I thought this was really good... my husband found it a little bland though. I made my own pizza crust because I have a tried and true recipe of my own, and I added green onions and red pepper. But, otherwise I kept it exactly the same. I don't really see the need for the butter so I think next time I would add the garlic and rosemary to the Alfredo sauce and amp up the flavor a bit. Over all a great recipe... just tweak it to your liking.

San Francisco Sourdough Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This recipe is very good. It makes a light, soft bread that is perfect for sandwiches, grilled cheese, and garlic bread. But, I must agree with other reviewers that although this is an excellent white bread recipe there is really not much sourdough flavor to it.

Bright Blue Monday Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
This recipe is excellent! I made them into muffins instead of a cake. Just filled 12 muffin cups and baked for 30 min. My husband who usually doesn't like muffins loved these! I was tempted not to put so many blueberries in because it seemed like a lot, but added them all anyways. I am glad I did... so delicious! And, the topping is awesome!

No Roll Pie Crust II

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
Although this recipe can't beat a good old flaky roll out pie crust... when you are in a pinch it serves it's purpose. It actually turned out a lot better then I expected. You only need to bake the pie crust first if you are filling with ingredients that will not be baked, such as chocolate pudding. And, if you are making a "baked" pie then just follow the recipes instructions for the baking time and temp.

This pie was very tasty! My only complaint is that the next day the topping is quite soggy... which I find kind of gross. But, if you are pretty sure that it will get eaten the first day then it is excellent!
