Coconut Tofu Keema

Reviewed: May 24, 2012
First off,, this is not a Keema dish,,, neither is it an Indian dish. 'Keema' indicates ground meat such as Beef or Mutton,,,, and Indian Recipes don't contain curry powder,,, ever. Heck, 4 of the other ingredients here are already in the curry powder! (Cumin, Salt, Ginger & Red Pepper). Still a tasty recipe though,,,, cut the tomato sauce to 2 cups, add a can of diced tomatoes,, and replace the Olive Oil (1/4 cup? Really??) with 2 TBL of Ghee or Canola Oil. And don't mince the onions,, chop them finely.

Love it, love it, love it!!! Just the right amount of flavoring without being over powering. I followed this recipe exactly although I did use vanilla yogurt. This recipe will certainly be used time and time again. Thank you for sharing.

Tossed Broccoli Salad

Great simple and easy salad. Perfect to throw together in a few minutes. I followed the recipe exactly but did find the dressing to be far to thick so I added a little milk to thin it down. Pretty sure I will be using this recipe again.

Mango Blueberry Muffins With Coconut Streusel

Reviewed: May 23, 2012
I was just so thrilled when I found this recipe. The only tweak I made was to use up some dried mango in place of the fresh. I just adore these muffins, the coconut streusel really is the icing on the cake and complements these muffins entirely. Thank you for posting this wonderful recipe!

I was looking for a recipe to use up some wine and a fellow AR Buzzer recommended this recipe. Followed the recipe exactly did not change a thing. It was an enjoyable piece of pork, although not sure this recipe is a keeper for me. Thank you for sharing. Did take an extra hour to cook that the recipe.

I love it! I love it! I love it! Wow! Everything I want in a pizza crust. Easy to make and really tasty. I'm no where near being Italian so I'm not sure how "Italian" this is but it works for me. Thank you. P.S. I did add Italian seasoning and some cheese to the dough. Tasty.

Perfect Lemon Curd

Wonderful recipe for lemon curd. This is not all that well known here but so great on scones and as a filling for cakes. Also makes lovely tarts with a dollop of whipping cream on top. The possibilities are endless.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
Really simple and tasty recipe. I followed the ingredient list exactly with the exception of using fresh onions and garlic rather than dried. I really think the grated onion made the steaks nice and moist while providing loads of flavor. I think the sherry was a nice touch. YUM!

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
This is exceptional! I read through most of the reviews, but then went ahead and made the recipe as is. The only thing I did change was the flour to fine baking starch. I don't know why others had 'thin' cream unless the cooking time wasn't long enough. If anything, I had a problem with the cream being almost too thick, more towards a heavy curd in consistency. As a result, I skipped the baking as it was nearly set before I put it in the fridge! Thank you for this easy and wonderful recipe :)

Nepalese Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
Just a mention from the author from the comments so far- the recipe should definitely include salt and pepper in it- plenty of seasoning is important in all egg recipes of course. Also, that in stage one, you should fry the thinly sliced onions until they start to brown/caramelise, not just when they are soft- this gets you a better flavour. Also, if you like it spicy, garnishing this with freshly chopped green chilli is a nice addition.
