Argentina

Unlike other Latin American countries, Argentina’s heritage is more European than mestizo or Indian. Spanish and Italian settlers poured into Argentina from the late 19th through mid-20th century, and French, German, Swiss, and Eastern Europeans also settled in large numbers. With them, settlers brought crops and animals, finding Argentina’s vast grassland plains a veritable heaven for grazing cattle and raising corn, wheat, fruits (like wine grapes), and vegetables. Argentina produces and consumes more beef per capita than any other country in the world. Similar to the United States, Argentina prizes its romantic cowboy heritage, with images of gauchos still powerful and present in modern culture. Grilling is a major national pastime, whether at home or eating at churrascarias, grilling restaurants. With 3,100 miles of coastline along the Atlantic Ocean, fish and seafood are a large part of Argentinean cuisine and picadas (small plates of mussels, cheeses, olives, and nuts) are common to all regions.

About me:
I am the wife of an Independent Baptist Missionary to the Mapuche Indians in the Andes Mts. I have always loved to cook and feed my family different and exciting meals. No plain old every day recipes I had growing up. My mother was a fantastic cook in her very limited menus, just never tried new recipes.

The Best Ever Chicken Nuggets

Once again I failed to go over reviews and got caught. It was too salty, will make again but next time with less garlic salt. We used the jalapeno popper spread to dip them in and we loved that combo.
