I'm an amateur cook who enjoys trying new recepies. I come from a long line of family cooks, non of whom have ever been professional. I have lived abroad, specially in Japan, Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua and in the US in several southern states. Soy Guatemalteco y mi idioma materno es el español, pero me siento igual de comodo hablando ingles, frances y portugues. Soy un profesional de la Teconología de la Información y trabajo voluntariamente con organizaciones juveniles, en donde me gusta enseñar a cocinar al aire libre. Mi gusto es particular hacia los platos exóticos. Pruebo todo al menos una vez y tengo muy buena memoria para los sabores y los olores. Mi paladar se hace mas selectivo cada día, pues estoy involucrado en un club local de aficionados al vino y disfruto del vino desde hace muchos años. Me gustan mucho las comidas al aire libre, la parrillada, las ensaladas y los mariscos.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

WARNING: REMEMBER THIS RECIPE YIELDS 60 COOKIES!!! You'll have to add 7 cups of dry ingredients to 1 1/2 lb of butter. I came to realize about this until my poor mixer was about to explode. So, I had to split in half the butter + sugar, and add to each portion, half of the rest of ingredients. I had to add more flour to the first half and ended up adding 1 more egg to the second half. Another great recipe ruined by me! :'( They still tasted great though!!
