A tad bit much onion but I can deal with it. Very easy to put together and stores well.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
So good but make sure you mix the batter well of it will turn out lumpy like mine once did. Otherwise, it's crusty cake on the outside and moist inside with fruit fillings.

VERY good soft chewy parmesan knots - I recommend using FRESH garlic and good quality butter...really picks up the flavour.

This was alright...maybe too much cream cheese? Or maybe I am not a big fan of cream cheese...it was too domineering in taste.

Ratatouille

Very good...love the parmesan taste! It does get runny though so I drain it near the end and pop it in the oven with the foil cover and comes out nice and steamy.

Sunshine Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
Very very good marinade...finger lickin good but too runny for me because of all the juice that runs down from the chicken and mixes in with the sauce.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Very good! I get perfectly cooked honey potatoes every time by microwaving the potato cubes for few minutes before putting them in the oven with the sauce.

Anytime Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
It was okay: we blended the jello and cottage cheese in a blender so it was very smooth. Added many, many more fruits to it, cutting with more Cool Whip so that it was liquid enough; overall not a bad recipe but not on my list of favourites.

Candy Apple Salad

Candy Apple Salad? Sorry, can't say that it tasted like candy apples at all. However, my cooking class enjoyed it and the peanuts seemed to knock their socks off, a very nice touch; pleasant, mild flavour to this salad.

Made with my cooking class and they enjoyed making and eating it! Very tasty chicken with a marvellous sauce. It was not dry (as chicken can be) and the sauce was a nice touch.

Corn Bread Pork Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
Made this with my cooking class and they enjoyed it. A few changes: a much larger recipe called for an added can of mushroom soup because we felt we just didn't have enough liquid; also, we thoroughly cooked the chops to cut down on baking time. Loved the stuffing on top: some was dry, some was moist but all agreed it was a nice touch; excellent flavour.

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
This is a great recipe from the traditional banana bread. I doubled this recipe, cut the sugar in half and added more pineapple. Awesome....this goes from the freezer to the plate in no time and guest don't know you didn't bake it that day. I make this over and over.

Quick Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
This has become a family fav for my young boys. I normally can't get them to eat fish especially tuna. Even my husband loves it. I have changed it to suit my own tastes however. Instead of using cheddar mac and cheese I use white cheddar mac and cheese, leave out the butter, and bake in the oven with mozza or marble cheese ontop. Sometimes I fry some onions and add it with the peas depending on how much time I have. A wonderful quick meal for few pennies. :D

I really enjoyed this. The kids, however, did not. They found it too tangy. I think I should have added more Garlic. I'll make it again, just have to make it on a night when the kids have other plans :)

Buffalo Chicken Wings II

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
great recipe. i followed other viewers ideas... added bread crumbs to flour, baked at higher temp, used more hot sauce and doubled the amount of sauce used. Also added extra seasoning to the flour mixture. Our local fave restaurant uses ranch dressing instead of blue cheese, so I tried that.... very yum. one more thing.... parchment paper in the bottom of the pan helps the wings get even crispier!
