About me:
I love all kinds of cooking, especially baking. Though I have not been cooking for a long time, I wish to be able to feed myself what I like to eat at the very least. Recently, I have rediscovered the joy of baking and having family and friends say: "These are delicious."

Banana Cream Pie III

Reviewed on Mar. 14, 2008 by LEEPERLADY
I made this very simple recipe at my girlfriend's cottage and the men loved it. It was a little messy cutting into it and the banana's did turn brown some but all in all, it was very tastey. As previous reviewers mentioned, I will try dipping the banana's in lemon juice before hand and will also try using a graham cracker crust too. This recipe is a keeper with a minor tune up...Thanks!

Cowboy Cookies III

Reviewed on Mar. 14, 2008 by LEEPERLADY
YUM, YUM, YUMMY! These cookies were a huge hit with my family. My 14 yr old daughter picked the recipe and made them herself a few days ago and then made them again a few days later. I have never seen cookies go that quick in my home...WOW. I did add an extra half cup of chocolate chips to the ingredients but thats only because I have chocolate lovers here and were extra gooey. This recipe will take place of my own recipe for now on. Thanks so much for sharing it with all of us.

Sweet and Sour Pork Patties

Reviewed on Mar. 10, 2008 by LEEPERLADY
Ok Gang! I had a package of ground pork that I had to use and stumbled upon this recipe. I didn't have bread crumbs so I tried crushed Triscuits (deli-style rye) and added cumin & garlic to the other ingredients. I also left out the sauce as I didn't have any in my pantry and didn't want to make it from scratch but "WoW"! This was very tastey which left a little tingle on the tongue for a short moment...MMMMMMMMMMMM! I'll make this again but next time I'll make into meatballs and try the sauce with it.
