Pasta Hot! Hot! Hot!

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
I made this exactly as per the recipe, I thought it was great, would have given it 4.5 if I could, although my husband gave it only a 3 (said the flavour was ok but just wasn't crazy about it overall). I found it perfectly coated and just the right spicy for me. Would be great with a grilled cajun chicken breast or something. Will definetely make this again (when hubby is not home for dinner). Thanks for the great recipe : )

My 3 yrs old son and I loved them. I followed the recipe exactly with one exception. I added a tsp of vanilla. I will make these again.

Dill, Feta and Garlic Cream Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I thought the taste was too garlicky and too much dill but everyone at the bridal shower LOVED it and a friend of mine who is a chef asked to take the rest home with her.

Aunt Betty's Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
The orange juice gives them a nice taste. I found them a bit crumbly, but overall these where really good muffins. I will make these again.

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This was really quick and easy with good flavour. I used another reviewers suggestion and used 1/2 cup white wine. I didn't have two tomatoes so I used some yellow peppers that I had in the fridge. Next time I will use more feta, that is just a personal preference.

Pork with Peaches Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
while this is a great recipe for those who love a little sweetnes to their main dishes, it was not a hit with my family. the peaches add too much sweetness to a dish that is otherwise very good!

Marinated Scallops Wrapped in Bacon

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
while the marinade was fantastic, the scallops were not a hit at my recent dinner party. not too difficult to make at all, when following the time to a "T" the scallops did not come out chewy! would be a great recipe to add for those who love to try new food, or love all varieties of seafood. not a great choice with finicky, choosy, or nervous eaters.

Key Lime Pie IX

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
this was very easy to make and the whole pie was served immediately. the only problem i had with it was the sweetness was powerful, but the positive side was the lime flavour was fantastice not to tart. highly recommened for those who love very sweet and little tart pies.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly with the one exception of the sugar, I used only 1/3c as others suggested. I'm a huge salad fan but unfortunately not so crazy about this one. I could see it being an excellent base for egg/tuna/chicken salad sandwiches, but a bit too much "zip" for a macaroni salad (not so crazy about the sweetness, and a bit too mustardy maybe?). Its certainly getting eaten, but I won't be making this again. Just my personal taste preference, sorry :(

Simple Arrabbiata Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
Very good sauce, I would pair with garlic bread or fresh crusty french bread and a nice glass of red wine. I used only half the basil called for, and it was a perfect spicy level for my Husband and I. I would compare the heat to ordering your chicken wings with medium sauce. I will definetely make this again :)
