About me:
I love to entertain but don't know enough to stop and slow down keeping things simple. I love big family get togethers and enjoy being the hostess. I enjoy anything creative like painting, cooking and gardening. We have become vegetarians since joining this site, so some of the recipes I have submitted in the past that contained meat of seafood can very easily be substituted with vegetarian friendly options like portabello mushrooms, tofu, "veggie-chicken or beef" etc...

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed on Jun. 29, 2009 by COVERDALE
I've always baked my bone-in ham and it has never occurred to me to slow cook it until I tried this recipe. I seldom use my slow cooker. Never again will I bake a ham. I took a couple of peoples advice and added pineapple juice along with the brown sugar and without doubt, it was the juiciest, most tender ham we've ever had. My family raved about it all through the meal. I didn't cook it as long as recommended (about 5 1/2 hours) and it turned out perfectly. Thank you LITTLEMSTXTHANG.

This was amazing. It had enough flavor and was very filling. I will certainly make again :)

Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed on Jun. 2, 2009 by ziggy
Good basic muffin recipe. Floowed the advice of other reviewers and preheated the oven to 425, then lowered to 400 when I put the batter in. I added two mooshed bananas and 1 tsp of rum extract. Turned out fluffy if slightly bland and not as moist as I like my muffins.
