About me:
I just moved to Vancouver in February, and I love it here!! I'm currently studying to be an insurance broker, but I have alot of free time so I've been experimenting with new recipes, as I'm a novice I've been sticking to less complicated recipes but last week I baked my first cake!! The next thing I want to master is Phyllo, mine always goes soggy :-(

Shredded Potato Quiche

A very good recipe yet a little bland. I will be making this again but adding a few extra ingredients to give it some extra kick. I followed one of the reviewers advice and patted my thawed hash browns in paper towels and brushed with melted butter, the crust crisped up nicely. Thanks.

Boneless Garlic and Rosemary Rubbed Prime Rib with Red Wine Mushroom Sauce

This turned our fantastic. With very little effort I was able to turn out a great roast dinner and the mushroom gravy was delicious. We enjoyed every bite!

Grilled-Salmon Lemon Basil Cream

Excellent. The sauce is to die for! I too baked my salmon, and as I had some fresh crab, I served this on top of the salmon and then covered the two in the sauce. With a rice pilaf, steamed asparagus and a glass of white wine, we really has a feast!
