Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed on Jul. 10, 2009 by GingerbreadMommy
I felt it tasted too "eggy". Reminded me of Chinese Egg tarts too much so didn't seem like "New York" cheesecake to me. Hubby felt the same way. The kids loved it so I will make it again. I filled three pre-made graham cracker crusts with this recipe.

Raspberry Sauce

I had to add about an extra 1/4 cup of sugar because it was too sour. I skipped the puree step as we like some texture. We'll serve it over homemade cheesecake.

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed on Jul. 9, 2009 by ambear
I am currently eating a bowl of this soup and it is amazing! I will admit, I did add a medium diced apple in the saute process to boost the squash's sweetness, and I took a reviewers advice on adding a pinch of curry powder. I garnished my bowl with a dollop of sour cream as a contrast and yummm! Thank you so much for this recipe, I will deffinitely make it over and over again!
