Banana Pancakes I

These are pretty good. Easy to make and fairly quick to cook. Only issue was that i found that the flavour wasn't so strong. Had to add a lot of condiments and if i was gonna do that i woulda made plain pancakes.

Chipotle Chicken Salad

This was really delicious, we had it on sandwiches and toast. I only used 1/2 cup mayo as 1c would have been waay too much. We also didn't have feta so we left that out (would have been even better with it), and instead of green onions we only had shallots which worked nicely.

Roasted Fan-Shaped Potatoes

My husband enjoyed the potatoes, but I found them a little dry. I'll try these again tomorrow night but I'll mix the Parmesan with the melted butter so that more of the Parmesan gets between the slices - there didn't seem to be a whole lot of flavor throughout the potato. I didn't think the crumbs added a thing - won't bother with them again. Used 2 wooden spoons to slice the potatoes. Thanks to my fellow reviewers for the suggestion.

Awesome!!! so exciting to make my own marshmallows!! :D I would say to pour the gelatin into the syrup very slowly and carefully because at first it will bubble up really high - just keep whisking it until it settles & then pour the rest of the gelatin in. Thank you!!

Zippy Shepherd's Pie

I used minced cooked lamb (traditional). This was a great recipe. Very tasty and quick to make. The Worcestershire sauce adds a nice buzz. Great quick dinner from leftovers.

Sausage Rolls

I used puff pastry and fresh pork sausages. Very Tasty and quick to make. I think a lot depends on the type of pastry and sausage you use. Batter quality gives a better result.

Lemon Iced Tea

A previous reviewer is quite correct in that the tea itself- orange pekoe - is just a black tea, perhaps a bit milder than English Breakfast Tea. No Splenda on hand so I took another reviewer's suggestion and used 1/2c. granulated sugar. I had full intention of using the amount of lemon juice in the recipe but decided to add a bit at a time and quit after 1/4 c. Perfect balance. I'll be making this tea up regularly this summer. Thanks for the recipe. Much better than the dry mixes on the market.

Fluffy Pancakes

Not the best tasting pancakes I've ever had, but boy are they easy! We all enjoyed them, but recipe only yielded about 5 pancakes, so if you are cooking for a group, double the recipe! I also omitted butter as another reviewer mentioned.

Easy Tortellini Bake

Delicious recipe. Will make again for sure. used my own marinara sauce, to which I added a cream sauce instead of Alfredo, and eliminated the last Tsp Italian seasoning. My husband and really enjoyed this. Served with pork chops and a salad.

Fast Salmon with a Ginger Glaze

Very yummy. I made mistake of using cider vinegar which is lot sourer, even diluted with apple juice. would work lot better with rice wine vinegar which I will use next time but still was delicious. I had with rice and a side salad. I cooked my salmon on a cast iron pan pre heated in the oven.

Mango Sorbet

Made this with very ripe mangoes - halved the recipe and followed directions to a T: really nice colour, nice taste, although a bit too sweet to be really refreshing. However, the reason for only 3 stars, is the sorbet was solid ice block. In order to serve I have set the dish out on the counter for it to thaw out some. Next time I will cut down on the syrup and add some cream

Banana Oatmeal Cookies III

I altered these slightly but dang they are good! They turned out really muffin like in texture, but they're still yum. I personally don't like using shortening, so I used 1/4 cup butter and a half cup of applesauce in its place, I also cut the sugar down to about 3/4C. Thank you for this great recipe!!!

Antipasto Pasta Salad
