Pancakes

These pancakes were delicious. We added 1 1/2 t of cinnamon and 1 D vanilla. We used pure plain flour so put in 1/2 t salt and 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. very tasty and just as easy as from the packet. After all, if you look on the ingredients in a pancake mix, it's usually just flour, baking powder, salt and occasionally powdered egg and flavouring.

Mini Orange Mince Pies

These were so easy to make and had a lovely flavour to them. The only thing I did differently was use chilled pure orange juice instead of water for the pastry. Two trays of these were gone in three hours at my work, so they were definately a bit hit!

Vegetable-Stuffed Peppers

I omitted the cheese on this dish to make a vegan/vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free potluck lunch dish. It was so yummy and the aroma whilst it was cooking was heavenly. Totally drool-worthy, thank you so much for a recipe that caters to a mixture of different dietary needs.

Applesauce Raisin Bread

This was so easy to make as part of a gift platter. I did not have quick cooking oats so I pulsed normal rolled oats in a blender until very fine and that worked well as a substitute.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

This dough was very hard to work with for me, even after chilling as suggested. However, with a little bit of patience I ended up with a lovely tasted cookie that also tasted fabulous.

Best Ever New Zealand Pavlova

This is recipie was awesome. So glad some one put in a new zealand recipie for the pav, its sooo good. But i wish people would also call it kiwifruit, rather that Kiwi, cos a kiwi is a bird lol. But anyway this recipe was awesome, def do it again

Polynesian Coleslaw

I have made this fou times in two weeks from the cabbage in my garden. It is so good as a side dish for pork dishes and is also a nice change from the standard coleslaw recipes.

Frosty Pumpkin Pie

This was very yummy. I had to add extra spices and it was more of an ice cream to me, so I would omit the shell next time. It's quite different to "regular" pumpkin pie.

Spinach Quiche

I made this for my mum's birthday brunch and it was the most tasty and good-looking quiche I have ever made. Everyone commented on how good it was. I was very happy with the end result. I did use olive oil spray instead of the butter and 1% milk to cut down on the fat content, and it was still delicious!

ooh, this was great! It really suited its name, coz the drink was this awful murky green (fabulous). I was afraid the vodka would make it too alcohol-tasting but it didn't at all. It was really strong so I added in some heavy cream and sipped away at it.
