i made this cake today .i mixed the cocoa powder in water and added.this prevents lumps and the cocoa mixes well into the flour.
i halved the amount exactly. soon after baking there was a hard crust on top which made me think i ve choosen the wrong recipe. but by the evening/next day it turned out amazingly moist and soft.nobody believed its without eggs and butter.i didnt have white vinegar so added apple cider vinegar and the rest followed the recipe exactly.definitely a great,easy cake .thanks for sharing the recipe.
