About me:
An Indian bachelor thrown into the world of the kitchen by virtue of the distance to mom and her kitchen (4000km). Started by living on frozen stuff, gained 20 pounds and decided to triumph over the cooking challenge. I was actually surprised that cooking is a stress-buster while also something akin to a Chemistry lab, in the potential to experiment.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed on Feb. 10, 2008 by coctilis
These were really good! I followed the recipe exactly, EXCEPT that I used natural peanut butter (it made the PB mixture rather crumbly, so making the balls was a bit of a challenge) and added a tbsp of milk to the cookie mixture, as suggested by others. I didn't run out of cookie dough. I used about a tsp of the peanut butter mixture for each ball. I also kept the balls of PB mixture in the fridge for about two hours. All in all, these were delicious!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed on Nov. 21, 2007 by coctilis
I am nibbling on a chicken leg as I type this now. This is the most amazing recipe for roast chicken that I have ever made! I didn't change a single thing, except that I adapted the recipe to one huge seven-pound roaster and baked it for exactly four hours. Wow. It's AMAZING.
