Tuesday was not a wonderful day for me. My car stalled in the middle of the road, and it wouldn't start again. So I called the tow truck and my boys. The truck towed me, and my boys made dinner. About this Cook
Single dad with two boys (13 and 14) at home and a daughter at university. I teach computers and like to write. I got engaged in November 2009 to a fantastic woman in Washington, and am we are going through the paperwork to get me down there so we can get married. I'll have another daughter when that happens!
My favorite things to cook
Oatmeal raisin cookies. Also enjoy cooking healthy meals because I look forward to the results - lots of energy, boys on honor roll and doing well in their sports. Oh, and Macaroni and Cheese.

Ham. I love ham. I also like to use mangos in as much as possible, probably because we had a mango tree in our back yard when we lived in Africa.

My cooking tragedies
When I was six, my younger sister and I walked into the kitchen and decided to bake a cake ...

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese
I'm giving this a four because of the nice cheesy flavour. Beware! this recipe serves eight! Large pots are a must.

Shepherd's Pie VI
Best Shepherd's Pie I've ever had. I used mozzarella cheese, topped with parmesan, because we didn't have any cheddar on hand. Also, didn't have a 2 quart casserol dish, so used a deep 5 x 9 dish instead.
