Three Cheese Manicotti II

MMMMMMMmmmmmm! My husband is not such a pasta fan but he ate this and went back for seconds. I substituted the basil for Italian seasoning b/c its what I had on hand. Also cooked up some Italian sausgae and mixed with the cheese mixture. So pleased with the end result!

Strawberry Pie II

What a wonderful, simple, tasty pie! I didn't let mine set up long enough so it was still a little soupy but it was great!! I will definitely make this again. I didn't change anything.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2008
These were very good!! My husband even liked them - holy shock batman!!! I followed the advice of GORMETMOMMY and beebeebaker. The tartness was a bit much for my 2 yr old (lots of funny, sour faces tho!) so next time will a little less lemon juice.

Chicken Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This had great flavor, easy to make. I used cream of chicken soup and chopped up some mushrooms and sauteed them with the onions, cubed up 1 chicken breast and sauteed it with garlic, added 1 1/4 c. milk, almost doubled the cheese, and used french fried onions on top instead of crushed crackers. Very tasty, will make this again.

Cut-Out Cookies in a Flower Pot

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
This was my first attempt at cut-out cookies. They were super easy and SO GOOD! Very sturdy, my 2 yr old helped me frost them and didn't break one! After I put them in a tupperware they moistened up nicely and were soft and delicious! I didn't have any butter extract so added almond in it's place and got many compliments on the flavor it added. Looking forward to all holidays to make this cookie again.

Beef and Bean Chimichangas

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
MMMMMMMMMMMM! These were SO good!! Made a double batch and put the extras in the freezer, wrapped them individually in saran wrap. Popped a couple - frozen - in the oven, took about 35 minutes, turned half way thru, and they were just as crispy and great as they were the first time. Will make these again for sure!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
These were so good!! and easy! They're a little too spicy for my 2 yr old (loves RF beans!) so next time I will cut down on the jalapeno. This will definitely replace the store bought beans! I simmered them on my stovetop b/c my crock it too tiny.
