Italian Style Sausage

This was fantastic!! I used fennel seeds instead of anise and doubled all the ingredients except salt per other reveiwers. I also used ground turkey.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

I made a couple chages to this recipe after tasting it an hour into simmering. I thought it was tasting way too tomatoey so I added 2 TBLS brown sugar and 2 tsp itailan style seasoning. That did the trick. So the changes I made from the beginning were: I used brown surgar instead of white. I pureed the tomatoes, I didn't have tomatoe paste so I used an 8 oz can of roasted garlic tomatoe sauce and 3 TBLS of oats that I blended with the tomatoes to thicken the sauce. I followed the meatballs exactly and they had such a great aroma but kind of lacked in taste. I will play around with more spices the next time I make this. As written this recipe is a 3 or 4, with the changes I made I would give it 5 stars.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

I followed the recipe exactly except I did not use the optional anchovy sauce. I thought it was wonderful, I kept eating all by itself before I used it in my recipe. This is truely an Exquisite Pizza Sauce!

Chicken Flautas

I was looking for something different when I came across this recipe. Such simple ingredients, I thought I'd give it a try. Wow!! These were wonderful! My husband took a couple for lunch the next day and said it's the best lunch he's ever had a work! Thanks for such a great recipe!

Southwestern-Flavored Ground Beef or Turkey for Tacos & Salad

I followed the recipe execpt I used shredded chicken and only 1 1/2 lbs so I halved all ingredients except cumin. It turned out fabulous!! My husband gave it a big thumbs up!! Thanks for a great recipe.

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake I

The crust was very hard, hard to cut, hard to chew. The cheesecake was not very chocolatey. I will try this one again b/c I think it has potential. I will put nuts on the crust, possibly into the crust as well. I will reserve the carmel for topping only. And lastly, I will double if not triple the amount of chocolate.

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

I thought this recipe was great! It was a huge hit at our house. I followed the recipe exactly, lots of work, but I thought it was worth it. I baked the crust for 10 minutes, then topped and baked for the 20 minutes. The crust was perfectly crunchy and chewy. Thanks for a great recipe!

Spicy Black Bean Soup

Wow, this is good soup! I crumbled 5 strips of bacon instead of all that ham. I also added a 1/2 tsp of cumin and omitted the celery. This is a fabulous, flavorful soup! Thanks for sharing!!

Tangy Chicken Fajitas

These were pretty good. The vinegar was a little overpowering, so next time I will cut that in half. My husband said they reminded him of some of the best fajitas he has ever had back in '95. Thanks for a good recipe!

Strawberry Avocado Salad

Oh man, oh man was this good!! I followed the recipe exacty but didn't have any pecans. My husband normally doesn't like salads and has never eaten avocados, but he went back for seconds and thirds and all but licked the salad plate clean!! What a refreshing summer time dish! Mini Meatball Subs

These turned out great! I followed the recipe except baked (first bake, not the cheese melting bake) them for an additional 8 minutes b/c I forgot to set the timer!! But they were just fine. I served two on whole wheat brat buns and it was perfect. My husband, picky eater, told me to make these again soon! Yay!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Pizza Casserole

I made a few adjustments and WOW - so good!!! 1)I used rigatoni pasta. 2)I spiced up the hamburger with "Italian Style Sausage" AR's 3)I made my own pizza sauce with "Easy Pizza Sauce II" AR's and 4)I doubled the cheese, I layered casserole, 1 C. cheese, casserole, 1 C. cheese. Man oh man, what a flavorful dish!! This will be added to the rotation!
