I am the owner and founder of SweetStacks, Inc. I am a Pacific Islander born and raised in the island of Guam USA. I come from a close-knit family who loves spending time together and eating! Everyone loves our desserts and pancakes so I decided to package our family recipes so more people can enjoy our delicious foods! We packaged our mother's special sweet pancake recipe to make our first product 'SweetStacks Gourmet Pancake Mix'. We have a history of wonderful cooks in our family. My great uncle was a chef for President Eisenhower in the White House. Another uncle was a chef for the Admirals in the Navy. Nearly all of my aunts, uncles and great aunts were either cooks or chefs in restaurants or in the school systems in the island of Guam. None of them had any professional or official culinary training. All were taught by their parents with a passion to cook and it was passed down by choice. Cooking and eating together brought our family closer together throughout the genera Gourmet Pancakes, Blueberry Puffy pancakes, Banana Donuts, Banana Lumpia, and Pacific Islander foods We always use family recipes passed down through the generations whenever our family gets together to cook. For family gatherings we always have our mother's secret recipe sweet pancakes. For desserts we have banana donuts and other personal recipe cakes from my mother. We entered our SweetStacks Gourmet Pancake Mix into our first food contest The Americas Best™ Professional Food Competition in 2008 and won 1st Place in the Pancake Mix Category! The Americas Best™ Professional Food Competition is the most recognized, most prestigious competition of gourmet products in the industry.
