We LOVE these rolls! This is the second batch we've made and after changing a few of the ingredients, they are much tastier!
Instead of shortening, use 2 tsp butter. Add 1/4 cup extra flour, knead 4 minutes (with electric mixer) then allow to rise 45 minutes. Punch the dough down, then using greased ice cream scoop, scoop out large balls of dough and place into greased, glass casserole dish. Allow to rise until doubled in size (about 30 minutes). Melt 1 tsp butter with 1 tsp honey and brush over the tops of the rolls. Bake at 425 for 10 - 12 minutes. Enjoy!
