Red Velvet Cake I

I used almonds to cover up all of the bad spots on my cake (I had a real hard time icing it.) I brought this on the last day of school for my friends at lunch. They were all seniors, so I wanted to do some thing special. I love how even though I messed up on what felt like every step, it still tasted and looked great!
