Spinach Cheese Manicotti with Homemade Shells

Spinach Cheese Manicotti

This turned out to be one of my husband's(who is a meat lover) favorite dishes. I did make a few changes. I added fresh, sliced mushrooms which I sauted first. Also, I used 1 26oz. can of spagehtti sauce not watered down and it was plenty. The shells are homemade using the recipe "Manicotti Shells" on all recipes. This gave it a more French flair as the recipe is similar to crepes but absolutely delicious. I think next time I will add a 16oz. bag of chopped spinach instead of a 10oz. block.

Photography Notes: This is delicious and satisfying served with a homemade Caesar salad and slices of French bread with garlic and parsley flakes.
