Deutsche Mittagessen

Red Cabbage

This is a meal you might order at lunch time in Germany. This meal includes two recipes from Allrecipes.com, Red Cabbage and Hot German Potato Salad III. The pork schnitzel is made from an Austrian cookbook that I purchased on a trip back to Europe my husband and I went on. I left the skins on the potatoes and added a tablepoon each of red wine vinegar and parsley. The *rotekohl* I added 1/8 cup of brown sugar. A very sharp knife is the best way to prepare the red cabbage. It's a winner every time!
