This was eaten in a whole wheat pita. I was so excited to try this since I really like tofu & I really wanted to like this recipe, but I didn't care for it so much. Glad I only made half of the recipe! There was a strange bitterness & I didn't care for the addition of rice, but maybe wild rice would've been alright. It was edible & tasted better only after adding a bit of honey & pineapple to the salad. Only change to this recipe is that I marinated the tofu in garlic, ginger, curry & soy sauce, then fried it in a skillet. I don't think I will make it again. This is a very creative recipe & I see how it may appeal to someone else's taste buds . . . just not for me.
