These festive meringues are a welcome treat in this season of sweets! Lightly crunchy, mildly sweet, with a hint of mint make them a perfect companion for a cup of tea. I used red-and-green striped candy canes for the crushed topping, to give them some nice holiday color.

Photography Notes: I used a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a 50mm/1.8 lens. The aperture was set to 1.8 to achieve the very narrow depth of field.
