Pirate Ship Cake

Photography Notes: I made three 9x13 sheet cakes to make this pirate ship. I layered them and cut them to make a very sturdy ship design. I used plastic sails and things from my sons toy ship to help cut down on time. I used rolled out tootsie rolls with pretzel sticks to make the handrail. Also used tootsie rolls wrapped around the candles to make cannons on the sides of the cake. Fruit roll ups are great to make windows.
