I decreased the butter and used 3/4 a cup of butter and sprinkled a few chips on the top before it finished baking. Unlike others my pie was done in less time and I almost burnt it thinking it would take longer as others had suggested. A very easy pie to make and a family favorite especially with the younger pickie eaters.
