Traditional Ethiopian Meal

Traditional Ethiopian Meal

I was inspired to make this shortly after dining at my first-ever Ethiopian Restaurant. The "platters" you see are INJERA that I managed to make. There are two traditional lentil-based vegetarian stews in rows across the top. The two bottom elements are gingered vegetables and a dark leafy greens dish called GOMEN. You eat Ethiopian food by using bits of the injera to pinch the thick stews and eat the whole thing, injera and all! I was very proud of this first attempt (and only my second time ever eating Ethiopian food)!
