Guinness Beer Bread

Beer Bread I

Used Guinness and it worked very well. Didn't have the self rising flour so made my own like one reviewer suggested....1 tsp. baking powder and 1 half tsp. salt to each Cup of regular flour. Rose nicely. Was not sticky enough to require my hands like original recipe states. That's a nice plus. Used a plastic scraper to scrape the bowl and that works very well. Want to try it with whole wheat and add cheese etc. Certainly a keeper. Can't get much easier than this!
