Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

I didn't have the time to make this recipe in it's entirety. I used store bought chunky mushroom sauce and added the meatballs straight into the pan as I began to simmer the sauce for 30 minutes. I also didn't have any bread crumbs, oatmeal (as one reviewer suggests), or any cracker of some sort. So, I used about 1/2 cup of wheat germ. They turned out just as yummy.
