Easy Scalloped Potatoes

I used, essentially, the same ingredients, but with changes... -more potatoes 4 - 5 lbs. Good luck! -steamed thinly sliced, large yellow onion for 6 min -no garlic -only 1/2 c milk -steamed sliced potatoes in batches for 7-8 min. -MORE CHEESE!! up to 500grams/6 c of cheddar/mozza/parmesan/etc. -lots of fresh-ground pepper -large dish-9 x 13" -covered dish for 1 hour with tinfoil, with cooking spray so it wouldn't stick. -no stirring to keep the texture nummy. -baked for another 1/2 hour.

Photography Notes: I find a lot of dishes look unappetizing, especially when they are browned in the oven (like potatoes) even tho you know when you dig in, it'll taste great. So, I try to put some interesting colours and shapes in the pic... bottle of wine, bright cherry tomato and/or carrot garnish, small plate with a large tidy-ed up serving on it, fork & serving utensils, & some background like stove knobs... hope this helps
