I let the pieces bake a little longer, then left them in a 200 degree oven until they were hard. When the gingerbread completely cooled, I glued everything together with purple-tinted royal icing. The path is black beans and the trees are paper and wire from a hobby store. That's a mini devil duckie swimming in the aluminum pond.
